RECARO Automotive celebrates 60 years RECARO performance seats at the MIMO event in Monza with two new seats and a huge program for RECARO fans to experience the brand.
60 years ago the first RECARO Aftermarket seat “Sport Seat” was presented at the Frankfort Motorshow IAA. Since then RECARO has been synonymous with performance: on the race track or on the road. RECARO will celebrate this anniversary at the MIMO Milano Monza Motor Show 2025. In the RECARO boxes 40-42 of the race track paddock at Monza, visitors can experience the seat portfolio, marvel new concept seats and participate on the RECARO Parade and the RECARO Simulator Contest. In addition there will be the extensive lifestyle portfolio including merchandising, gaming chairs and also child seats.
Monza, Italy – June 27, 2025 – In 1965 RECARO launched the first Aftermarket seat to the public, the famous RECARO “Sport Seat”. Since then, seats from RECARO have always set new standards in performance, safety, quality and comfort.
RECARO will be celebrating the 60th anniversary at its boxes 40 – 42 in the paddock of the Monza race track – with among an additional design variant of the famous RECARO Pole Position: the RECARO Pole Position 2026. Like its famous brother, it is a genuine market revolution. The Pole Position has been the first aftermarket shell seat for street-legal usage.
Visitors can also marvel a first concept of the new racing shell portfolio – following RECARO’s competencies in highest safety, best comfort, lightweight and outstanding design.

- The RECARO Contest, a simulator contest on the Monza circuit, with a RECARO gaming chair for the winner with the best lap time.
